The Lahore Leads University (LLU) is a private university in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is chartered by the Government of the Punjab and recognized by the Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) (HEC). The first Vice Chancellor of Lahore Leads University was Dr. Khairat M. Ibne Rasa, who was previously the Vice Chancellor of University of the Punjab, Lahore.
History
Leads Educator Welfare Trust was established in 1995. It is a non-profit trust for promoting education throughout the country. The trust started its educational projects at all levels, including the Leads School System, Leads Group of Colleges, and Lahore Leads University. Lahore Leads University was granted degree-awarding status on 22 January 2011.
Campuses
Lahore Leads University has various campuses – the main campus (165 canals) is located on Kamahan Road, near DHA Phase V and Bedian Road, Lahore. The engineering campus is located near Thokar Niaz Baig in West Wood Colony, Lahore. The university also has a separate campus for Accountancy and Commerce.
