Laila Pence (née Marshall-Pence) is an Egyptian-American financial advisor and the president and co-founder of Pence Wealth Management, a Newport Beach–based Registered Investment Advisory firm. She oversees more than $2 billion in assets and has been repeatedly recognized by Forbes and Barron's as one of America’s top wealth advisors.[1][2]

Early life and education

Pence was born in Egypt and immigrated to the United States with her mother at age 12 following the Six-Day War.[1] She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and later obtained her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.[3]

Career

She began her financial services career in 1980 while still an undergraduate. After obtaining her securities license, she co-founded Pence Wealth Management in 1981. As of 2025, the firm manages over $2 billion in client assets.[2]

Pence has received numerous accolades for her work in the financial industry.

She resides in Newport Beach, California, with her husband, Dryden Pence, and their daughter Sarah.[3]
