Incidents[edit]

Men in animal masks[5] had broken into the Lalitha Jewellery showroom in Trichy city and made away with gold worth at least Rs 13 crore. The charge sheet has been filed in the court for the biggest burglary incident that occurred in the district [6]and sources said that it has been filed to give the accused maximum sentence. Following the investigation, the police team recovered all 25 kilos of stolen valuables were recovered from the accused person possession.
