Lamar is a food processing company and is the brand name of Alexandria Agriculture. Lamar provides the Egyptian market with diversified products such as milk, juices, drinks, and dairy alternatives. Lamar is in a strategic partnership with Tetra Pak.
History
Hany Talaat Moustafa built the “Alexandria Agricultural Company” in 1985. Aiming to provide resources for many businesses, whether in the dairy field or the fruit sector, through the farm located in Nubaria.[1] In 2011, LAMAR built its manufacturing unit inside the factory to be able to produce packaged products. In 2012, it launched its first consumer good product under the brand name LAMAR, in partnership with Tetra Pak, a multinational food packaging and processing company from Sweden. The milk includes no powder, additives, and is 100% natural from the farm. In 2013, LAMAR introduced its juice range, which is 100% natural with no added sugar or preservatives. In 2017, Lamar launched its drink range with different flavors. In 2018, LAMAR was the first Egyptian brand to introduce locally manufactured Almond milk.
Farm and Factory
Farm
Lamar's farm is located in Nubaria, 75 kilometers away from Alexandria and spread across 3,000 Acres. It specializes in the cultivation of different types of fruit: dates, apricots, pomegranates, and grapes. In addition to farming agricultural crops to feed LAMAR cows, such as corn and green fodder. Currently, it hosts more than 3000 Holstein cows.

Dairy Alternative
