Melouky (Arabic: ملوكي) is an Egyptian confectionery company established by the two brothers Yassin Koueider and Hashem Koueider in 1984 for the production of high-boiled sweets (bonbons) using the latest technology machinery and know-how. Melouky's policy since its inception was to carefully select premium materials and packaging utilized in the production process to guarantee quality taste and consumer satisfaction. Due to the increasing demand upon Melouky's array of products, in the year 2000 the company expanded and moved to a fully automated factory located at the new industrial zone Obour (city), 18 km from Cairo International Airport, investing two decades of experience in this plant to maintain the high product standard and increase production capacity.[1]
