Lance Omal[1] (born 30 November 1995[2]), known professionally as Lancey Foux, is a British rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and model from Plaistow, London.[3][4]
Early life
Omal was born in London to a mother and father of Ugandan decent.[3] He spent most of his childhood growing up in East London, where he also attended school, He lived in Plaistow, Newham, East London where he was surrounded by gang violence and crime.
Career
2015–2017: Online beginnings and solo debut
Lancey Foux began his music career in 2015 by freestyling over YouTube beats from his bedroom which eventually led to him accidentally finding his way to a studio through a friend. In the same year, he released his debut studio album Pink.[5] Two weeks later, he dropped local breakthrough hit “About It”.[6] After a few performances (such as the memorable SBTV cookout), and multiple solo and collaborative singles released on SoundCloud, he released his sophomore studio album TEEN SKUM in late 2015.[7] After two years of releasing more SoundCloud singles, he released a collaborative studio album with English producer Nyge titled First Day at Nursery.[8]
2018: Too Far Alive and Pink II
By early 2018, Lancey Foux raised his profile and found a more distinctive sound with Too Far Alive.[9] He released Pink II,[10][11] the sequel to his debut album, three months later, which showcased a feature from Grime legend Skepta on “Dyed 2WICE”.[12] He soon joined Skepta’s SK LEVEL Europe tour.[13]
2019: Friend or Foux
After catching more attention, he performed at US hip-hop festival Rolling Loud in 2019 and modelled for Jordan and A-COLD-WALL*, MISBHV, Trapstar, and Naomi Campbell’s 2019 Fashion for Relief Gala, among other brands.[1] He released his most popular project, Friend or Foux, on 6 December 2019,[14][15] which allowed him to sell out his first headline show at O2 Islington, two days later.
2020–present:
In the eventful year of 2020, months after releasing his most successful project to date Friend or Foux. In the month of May, Foux was scheduled to go on tour but that was stopped prematurely due to the pandemic. Sometime later in June, Lancey Foux went onto release a pair of impactful singles that addressed current events and supported the Black Lives Matter movement. TIME FOR WAR !I and RELAX !I.[16]
It wasn’t until later on that year in September Lancey Foux would find himself being along side his muse Leomie Anderson on the front cover of Wonderland’s Autumn 2020 issue,[17] along with that being a highlight of the year another was being the look book main model for Matthew M Williams' Givenchy Spring-Summer 2021 collection. In October he released RIO FREESTYLE.[18][19] Before releasing his most anticipated unreleased song, Off the Lead,[20] To end the year, Lancey Foux announced the title of his sixth studio album LIFE IN HELL on his birthday 30 November, the album is due to release next year.[21][22]
In December 2020, Lancey Foux dropped a single, Poison, featuring close friend Bakar In December 2020.[23]
In January 2021, Lancey Foux released his second single from his upcoming album titled Steelo Flow,[24] In February 2021 Lancey Foux dropped another single titled DONT TALK,[25] which was the lead single for his Mixtape FIRST DEGREE.[26][27]
In November 2021,Omal released a mixtape titled LIVE.EVIL.[28] The project received two features by american rappers Lil Yachty on the third track OUTTAMYMIND! and 24kGoldn on the last track BIG SWAG released before the project's release.[29]
In January 2022, Omal modealed with american rapper Destroy Lonely for Matthew M Williams's brand 1017 ALYX 9SM fashion show in Milan, Italy.[30]

Omal is currently dating a British model Leomie Anderson they started dating in 2016.
