Laura Maciver
Laura Maciver is a Scottish broadcast journalist and television presenter employed by BBC Scotland. She regularly presents Reporting Scotland and The Nine.
Early life and education
Maciver was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and attended Balerno High School. She later went on to receive a degree in American Studies at the University of Edinburgh and later moved to the United States to study at the University of Miami, Florida as an exchange student.
Later, she received a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism Studies at the University of Strathclyde.
Broadcasting career
After graduating, Maciver became a trainee reporter for Radio Forth in Edinburgh, afterwards she was employed by BBC Scotland as a news reporter and presenter for Reporting Scotland and The Nine.[1]
Personal life
Maciver currently lives with her husband and three children in Glasgow, Scotland.
