The Lauwiner Empire [1] is a micronation founded in 2014 by King Jonas I.[2]. The Lauwiner Empire is the first micronation found in Switzerland. Currently, five languages are spoken in the Lauwiner Empire: Russian, Swiss German, English, French, and German.
Structure
The entire Empire is owned and controlled by King Jonas I, who is also the supreme commander of the Lauwiner Empire Legion. The Lauwiner Empire Legion is responsible for the defence and security of its citizens and their property. The Royal Guard is responsible for the security of the Royal Family[3]. The finances, law, and tax control of different regions of the Empire are assigned to the Lords and Ladies. There are Board of Governors who are formal advisors to the King and have executive powers, but are answerable to the King[4].
The Lauwiner Empire owns substantial properties [5] across many countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia, which are rented to its citizens. Citizens of the Lauwiner Empire are bound to abide by the Lauwiner Empire Constitution.[6].
Geography
The Lauwiner Empire is spread over 40,000 square meters in parts of Switzerland [7], Morocco, and Ukraine. The empire has a population of approximately 600 individuals.
