Lawrence King (businessman)
Lawrence King (born 1, January 1985) is Ugandan entrepreneur, public figure, socialite, philanthropist, and Founder of Rence Oil and Gas. As of March 2018, he had an estimated net worth of US$5 million.
King is one of Uganda’s richest business men[1], and also a member of Uganda-Rich gang group[2]. The group is known for having annual parties in Uganda and South Africa and giving out money wherever they visit.
Early life and education[edit]
King was born in Kampala- Uganda on 1, January 1985 to Ugandan parents. He attended Budo Junior School Primary, and Namilyango College Mukono District in the Central Region of Uganda. He relocated to South Africa in 2010, but visits Uganda yearly to celebrate the Rich Gang Group annual parties[3].
King is a philanthropist in South Africa and Uganda. He helped several needy people in Uganda and South Africa before and eventually started and still owns an orphanage home in Kayunga-Uganda. He used to partnered with his late cousin Ivan Semwanga whose burial was a rave in the news[4], as his friends threw money into his grave.
