Lazytown is an Icelandic-British-American-Canadian educational children's television series created by Christopher Cerf and produced by the Viacom for CBS and Nickelodeon in the United States. It broadcast 2,340 episodes over the course of its eighteen seasons from September 11, 1973, to December 28, 1989. After it ceased production in 1989, the program continued in reruns until October 13, 1996. The series reran on Noggin, a channel by the Nickelodeon, from 1999 to 2002.
