Lee Jin-an (Korean: 이진안) is a South Korean business executive. He is the president and CEO of Amkor Technology Korea, the largest subsidiary of the semiconductor packaging and test services provider Amkor Technology (NASDAQ: AMKR).[1]
Education
Lee graduated from Chonnam National University. In January 2026, the university awarded him an honorary doctorate in engineering in recognition of his role in the semiconductor industry and advanced packaging technologies.[2]
Career
Lee started his professional career at Anam Industrial, the predecessor of Amkor Technology Korea. He held various management positions in finance and operations within the organization before being appointed to the executive board.[3]
In February 2024, Lee was named President and CEO of Amkor Technology Korea.[1] His leadership focuses on the global Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) market, particularly on the management of national strategic industrial operations. He has received recognition from the South Korean government for contributions to national export growth.[2]
