The seventh season of the American superhero television series Legends of Tomorrow was announced of February 3, 2021. It will star Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory / Heatwave and air on The CW.

On February 3, 2021, it was announced that The CW had renewed 12 original series for additional seasons through the 2021-2022 television seasons. One of those series was revealed to be The Flash prior to the sixth season premiere, along with other Arrowverse series Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow.[1]
Casting[edit]
In February, Dominic Purcell, who stars as Mick Rory / Heatwave, indicated he would leave the series after the seventh season as it was the last on his contract.[2] However, two months later, he confirmed it would be his final season.[3]
