Lek (pharmaceutical company)
Lek is an international pharmaceutical company, now part of Sandoz, originally established 1946 in Slovenia. Lek and Krka are two major regional pharmaceutical companies, representing an important part of Slovenian export.[1]
In Mengeš, runs a biopharmaceutical center, which is one of Sandoz's key development centers. Lek closely cooperates with scientific institutions in Slovenia, including Jožef Stefan Institute, National Institute of Chemistry, and several Slovenian universities.[2]
Important markets of Lek include the United States, Russia, and Poland.[3]
