From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Born and raised in London, Leonie Huie is a writer, author, educator, and mother. She is the founder of Empower Me, a coaching, training, and events business she started in 2019 after being inspired by her twin daughters. Her overall goal is to inspire mothers to grow their businesses and improve their work-life balance.

Her journey first started when she became the mother of her twin girls. Leonie struggled to try to manage her work-life balance and just coped on a day-to-day basis. She needed more flexibility in her life. Furthermore, she helps mompreneurs grow their business through 1:1 coaching, creating editable business templates & workbooks.

As well as coaching, Leonie is also an author. Her debut book is titled, The First Year Is Just Survival. A book was written to help parents of twins and multiple children survive that tough first year of parenthood. Leonie is particularly passionate about supporting mothers in making positive changes.

In 2021, she was awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) by Her Majesty The Queen in the 2021 New Year’s Honours for her service to education.
