Leroy Brothers are three Belgian brothers working as contemporary artists in the fields of social media art, postinternet art,[1][better source needed] and new media art. Nicolas (born 1979) studied Fine Art at the Art Academy Villa Arson in Nice, France and at The Cass, (now London Metropolitan University), while Gilles (born 1978) and Gregory (born 1975) are art autodidacts.[2][not in citation given] They live and work in France. Leroy Brothers use the Internet as their primary source for the conceptualisation of their art projects.[3][4][not in citation given]

They were selected for the Jing'an International Sculpture Park exhibition during the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai.[5] In 2014 their cover artwork for the Russian rock band Mumiy Troll's album SOS Matrosu was exhibited at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.[6][7][8]

Witness Your World[edit]

Leroy Brothers are perhaps most known for their online art project Witness Your World, formerly known as BDRtist. In essence, Witness your World uses the representational and community features of the internet, but with results in physical space, as embodied in the art object.[9]
