Levi Gilmàr Di Silva Fernandez–Lynch (born 21 January 1994), commonly known as Fernandinho, is a British–Filipino Professional footballer who plays as a Right Winger for United Football League club Stallion, on loan from Scottish club Alloa Athletic F.C..
Personal life
According to his England-based agent, Gilmar's mother Charmainne Johanna Antheà Fernandez hails from Manila, while his father is former Crystal Palace footballer, Rodney Lynch.[1]
At a young age, Levi was kicked out of school growing up in south-east London. Gilmar was raised by his mother and he has 9 other siblings, 3 are in the custody of his mother and 6 are in the custody of his father. He also has a young son named Sonny Àntónio Neymàr Fernandez. Mother Unknown
Career
Club
Millwall
Gilmàr played for Millwall from the age of 8 until 14 even having a trial with Spanish super club FC Barcelona at the age of 10. Gilmàr being unsuccessful returned to the English Championship side climbing the ranks.
Leyton, Dagenham
Fernandinho then went on to play for Leyton Orient’s U15 and U16 youth team for one season before being offered a number of football scholarships at Crawley Town, Macclesfield Town & Cambridge United before signing for League 1 side Dagenham and Redbridge FC’s Youth Team.
Sannat
Gilmar then being released by Dagenham was given a Professional Contract at Gozo League 1 side Sannat but didn't stay long.
Floriana
On 12 December 2012, Floriana grabbed the winger for a reported fee of €9,000. On the next season, Gilmàr was offered numerous offers from Maltese clubs, from Div 3 to Premier, but went on trial for Champions Valletta.
Gilmàr's delightful pre-season caught (then AC Milan youth coach) Ricardo Tumiatti's eye. Ricardo then acquired a job at Maltese Premier Side Balzan Youths & offered a contract to Gilmàr.
In 2013, English League One side Coventry had reportedly bid €20,000 for Gilmàr's services, but the club was unable to complete the deal due to the club receiving a transfer embargo in January 2014.[2]

Balzan Youths
On 18 September 2013, Gilmàr joined Maltese Premier League club Balzan Youths.
He made his debut for Balzan in a 1-3 defeat against Mosta.
Stallion
On 26 February 2015, it was announced that Gilmàr will join Filipino-based club Stallion in a 6-month loan and an option of extending for another 6 months.[3]
International career
Gilmàr is eligible to represent Philippines, England and Jamaica through his Mother which is a Filipina and through his Father which is a British-Jamaican.[4] On 15 January 2015, Fernandinho was hinted to have an audition for the Philippines national football team to help boost up the national team squad for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He was also hinted to play for the U23 national team for Olympic Games.
Style of Play
Gilmàr primarily plays as either a Winger, Central Striker, or occasionally as an Attacking Midfielder.
The media have often drawn comparisons between Gilmàr and FC Barcelona-star Neymar, as Fernandez possesses similar attributes.[5][6]
