Leonardo Josue Caracas Velásquez (born 21 March 1992 in Maracaibo, Venezuela), also known as Leycang is a Venezuelan singer.
Early life
Leycang was born on April 21, 1992. He was raised for most of his childhood and adolescence in the State of Trujillo, Venezuela. He began studying Agronomic Engineering at UNEFA (National Experimental University of the Armed Forces) nucleus Betijoque in 2010, successfully completing it in 2015.
Career
In 2011 he recorded the Merengue version of the song "Me Muero Por Quererte" together with the Venezuelan group "Calibu". He was nominated at the Pepsi Music Awards in the category "Tropical Merengue". This being the youth theme of the renowned Venezuelan telenovela Natalia del Mar of Venevisión.[1] At the end of 2013 he made a new version of the song «Transportarte» together with "Diego A.", being recorded in "El Castillo Records".[2]
