Lianyu Tan is an Australian author of short stories and novels.[1]
Biography[edit]
Tan's first book was Captive in the Underworld, a lesbian Hades/Persephone retelling, published in 2021. Her second novel, The Wicked and the Willing, was released in May 2022. The Wicked and the Willing was a finalist for a Lambda Literary Award[2] and a Golden Crown Literary Award.[3]
Tan was born in Malaysia but migrated to Australia at a young age. She has autism spectrum disorder.[4]
