The Libertarian Party of Rhode Island (LPRI) is the Rhode Island affiliate of the Libertarian Party. The state chair is William Hunt, Jr; the state vice-chair is Mike Rinaldi; the state secretary is Katherine Revello; the state treasurer is Beth Richardson; and the state at-large committee member is Shawn Mizner.

Tony Jones was a Libertarian candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Rhode Island in the 2014 elections. This was the first time that the party had a statewide nominee on the ballot in a midterm year.

In 2016, three candidates ran for Rhode Island House of Representatives under the Libertarian banner. Daryl Gould was a candidate for District 67 representative for Barrington and Warren; William Hunt, Jr. was a candidate for District 68 representative for Warren and Bristol; Analee Berretto was a candidate for District 69 representative for Bristol and Portsmouth.

Also in the 2016 election cycle, Matthew Gillette ran for Little Compton Town Council as a Libertarian. Tony Jones ran for North Kingstown Town Council.

In 2016, the LPRI updated its logo, borrowing elements from the new national Libertarian Party logo.
