American Delta Party is an American political party established by Rocky De La Fuente. On September 1, 2016, the party held its national convention in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, and nominated Rocky De La Fuente to run in the United States presidential election representing his party. De La Fuente chose Michael Steinberg as his running mate. De La Fuente received an additional endorsement from the Reform Party.[2]

De La Fuente ran a presidential campaign in the 2016 election and sought the Democratic Party's nomination during their presidential primaries. After losing the their presidential primaries Rocky De La Fuente created the American Delta Party to run for the 2016 election.
2016 presidential election[edit]
After coming in fourth and winning no delegates in the 2016 Democratic Party presidential primaries Rocky De La Fuente founded the American Delta Party as a vehicle[3] to run for president of the United States with his running mate Michael Steinberg. After becoming the nominee of the American Delta Party, the Reform Party nominated him as their candidate and gave him their ballot access giving him ballot access to twenty total states on August 8, 2016. Rocky De La Fuente campaigned in smaller states[4] as he lacked ballot access to the larger states. On October 25, 2016 he participated in a debate hosted by the Free & Equal Elections Foundation and debated against the Constitution Party candidate Darrell Castle and the Party for Socialism and Liberation candidate Gloria LaRiva.[5] De La Fuente received 33,136 votes in the general election, earning him 0.02% of the total popular vote and received zero electoral votes.[6]
