Liezel Pieters, professionally known as Liezel Pieters, (born 6 March 1987) is a South African Afrikaans-language pop singer-songwriter and actor.
Early life
Originally from Rustenburg in the North West, Liezel Pieters is described as the Laura Branigan of Afrikaans music. Her first single, "Breathless", resonates with the brilliance of the late eighties when legends like Belinda Carlisle and Jennifer Rush made big hits – the type of voice that makes your ear itch for more!
Outside of the glamour of the entertainment world, she is also a big fighter for animal rights. She intends to one day own her own game farm and retire there.
The talents of Liezel Pieters were formed on hits from legends on top-class stages and she is, without a doubt, one of the brightest rising stars to watch.
