Life Upon The Wicked Stage is a 1954 American musical romantic comedy film directed by Rouben Mamoulian, It stars Vivian Miller, Darryl Hickman, Dwayne Hickman, Philip Hurlic, Leon Janney, June Preston, Juanita Quigley, Sonny Bupp, Annie Ross, Billie Burke, Benny Goodman. Miller's rendition of this film and her pink dress, ringlets, blue eye shadows, red lipstick and pink blush are considered iconic.
The title is film borrowed from the famous song in the stage musical (and MGM film) Showboat.
