Lifemark Health Group is a Canadian healthcare company based in Toronto, Ontario.[1] Founded in 1998, the company is a leading provider of physiotherapy[2], rehabilitation services, massage therapy services and other healthcare services. [3] The company operates physiotherapy clinics across Canada[4].
Lifemark is a former subsidiary of Centric Health Corporation[5] and was acquired by Audax Group in 2016.[6] In 2018, Northleaf Capital made an investment in Lifemark to bolster the company's growth. [7]
In both 2018 and 2019, Lifemark was recognized by the Globe and Mail and Morneau Shepell as one of 75 Employee Recommended Workplaces in Canada. The award recognizes excellence in achieving a healthy, engaged and productive work force.[8] [9]
In 2017, Lifemark entered into a three-year agreement to support the Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon, a charity event in Halifax, Nova Scotia.[10] In 2018, 11,000 people participated in 7 different races over a period of two days in Halifax as part of the marathon. [11]
