Anthony Oghenebrume Osekaje (born 9 February 1997), known professionally as Lil5ive is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter.[1] His craft attracted public attention after he released a song titled "Satiramoni" featuring Barry Jhay who is the son of popular Fuji music icon, Ayinde Barister.[2] He finally got noticed in the Nigerian music industry after he released his popular record titled "Omo Ologo".[3]

Early life and education[edit]

Anthony Oghenebrume Osekaje was born and raised in Ughelli, Delta state, in a family of three and he is the first child. He attended PHCN staff school, Ekakpamre, Delta state where he got his primary and secondary education. He graduated with a degree in business administration from Delta state university.[4]

Career[edit]

At a very tender age, Lil5ive started with his church choir where he developed passion for music. He started recording at a studio in Warri, Delta state in the same vicinity with Erigga and Yung6ix. Lil5ive later moved to Lagos state in the first quarter of 2017 where he released his first official single titled "Way Up."[5] Months later, Lil5ive released another single dubbed "Piece of Mind." In 2019, he released "Satiramoni" and his craft gained massive attention after he dropped the remixed version with Barry Jhay.[6] Lil5ive finally gained prominence in the Nigerian music industry after he released his popular single "Omo Ologo" in the last quarter of 2019.[7]
