Linda Nuttall
Linda Nuttall is one of two surviving victims of serial killer Bobby Joe Long. At the age of 33,[1] after placing a classified advertisement in a newspaper around Memorial Day in 1984, she was raped by Long while her two young children (ages 1 and 4) were in the house.[2][3][4]
Nuttall was present at age 67 to witness Long's execution on May 23, 2019, when he was given a lethal injection at Florida State Prison in Raiford.[5] She read from a prepared statement, saying, "I want to thank all of the law enforcement, all of the detectives, Ron DeSantis. Today, justice was served."[1]
