LinkSquares was founded by Vishal Sunak and Chris Combs in 2015 in Boston, MA. They raised a seed funding round of $2.16 million led by Regent Private Capital. In March 2019 they raised a seed extension funding round of $4.8 million led by Hyperplane Venture Capital and MassMutual Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company[2][3] In February 2020, they raised a series A funding round of $14.5 million led by Jump Capital [4][5][6]
Software and services[edit]
LinkSquares provides tools for contract management and analysis by extracting key terms and metadata from contracts by using a proprietary OCR and machine learning process. The extracted information, called Smart Values includes information within the contract such as Auto-Renew Date, Effective Date, and Parties[1]. LinkSquares customers can use search through their contracts and build custom reports. Additionally, extracted information to automatically rename files in a process called Smart Naming as well as set up automated reminders in a process called Smart Tasks.
LinkSquares integrates with systems including Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, DocuSign, Adobe Sign, and HelloSign, and Salesforce.
Customers include VMware, DraftKings, Wish, and Asurion.[2]
