Linus Williams (born 14 March 1998) commonly known as B-lord is a Nigerian-born entrepreneur, businessman, cryptocurrency trader and investor.[1][2] Linus is the founder and CEO of Blord Group[3][4][5]
Early life & Career
Born on March 14, 1998, Linus Williams Ifejika hails from Umuji Ebenebe in Awka North Local Government, Anambra State, Nigeria. Although he was born in Delta State, he spent his formative years in Delta State. Linus pursued his higher education at Anambra State University Uli, where he completed a degree in Computer Science.[6][7].[8][9][10][11][12]
In 2020, Linus established his own cryptocurrency exchange platform in Onitsha, Anambra State, named B-Lord Group of Company.[13][14][15]
In 2022, Linus founded a Fin-tech App, BillPoint: VTU & Bills Payment, which he notes the app is for sharing knowledge and facilitating financial empowerment through his platform is indicative of his commitment to driving positive change within the industry.[16][17][18]
Controversies
EFCC Arrest
On September 1, 2020, Linus Williams Ifejika was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Enugu State. Following a ten-day detention period, he was eventually released.[19][20] However, dissatisfied with his experience, Linus decided to take legal action against the EFCC, accusing them of violating his rights and wrongfully seizing his properties.[21][22]
Personal life
He is married to Linus Francisca, and together they have a child named Elliot, who was born in 2020.[23]
