The Hotter Than Hell Tour is the first official headlining concert tour by Dua Lipa. It began in Dublin, Ireland on 5 October 2016, and ended on 2 December 2016, in Birmingham, England.

Background[edit]

On 10 May 2016, Lipa announced the first 11 European tour dates and said "more dates were to be announced". Pre-sale for the announced dates began on 11 May 2016 and general sale began on 13 May 2016. More dates were announced gradually within the next few months. The Birmingham date was originally scheduled for 9 October, but was later rescheduled to 2 December.

The US and Europe Tour is the second official headlining concert tour by Dua Lipa. It is in support of her self-titled debut album Dua Lipa. The tour began on 24 February 2017 in Chicago, Illinois, and concluded on 13 April 2017 in London, United Kingdom. Despite the tour name, the first leg also has a stop in Canada.

Background[edit]

During January 2017, Dua started to tease an exciting announcement on social media and on 17 January she revealed the North American tour with 15 confirmed dates. Tickets for all North American dates went on sale on 21 January. On 20 January 2017, Dua announced a small batch of European dates as part of the 2017 concert tour. Tickets for European dates went on sale on 3 February.

Background[edit]

On 12 May 2017, three weeks before the release of her debut album, Lipa announced the first stage of the dates, consisting of 20 shows across Europe. On 12 September 2017, dates for North and South America were announced. Some additional dates were added.[5] On 25 September 2017, following the commercial success of the single "New Rules", other dates were added in the United Kingdom. During 2018, Lipa also performed at various festivals internationally.
