List of Iron Man supporting characters

Iron Man has a large range of supporting characters. They are friends, employees of Tony Stark, and other superheroes. This is a list of them:

A

• Aldrich Killian - The developer of the Extremis virus along with Maya Hansen. He commits suicide after selling the virus to domestic terrorists.

B

• Bethany Cabe - Tony Stark's girlfriend who had gymnastic abilities and was highly trained in hand-to-hand combat.
• Black Widow - First introduced as a Russian spy and as a villain of Stark himself. She would later redeem herself joining the S.H.I.E.L.D. and later becoming a member of the Avengers.

E

• Edwin Jarvis - Manservant to Howard Stark and Maria Stark. He also served the Avengers.

F

• F.R.I.D.A.Y. - An artificial intelligence that would appear as a hologram and act as Tony Stark's secretary.

G

• Guardsman - Kevin O'Brien and Michael O'Brien, friends of Iron Man that wore the Guardsman armor.

H

• Hank Pym - He founded the Avengers with Tony Stark, and they also helped themselves in various times.
• Happy Hogan - Hired by Tony Stark as his chauffeur and personal assistant after Happy saves Tony's life.
• Hawkeye - He is an exceptional fencer, acrobat and marksman. He would later join the Avengers.
• H.O.M.E.R. - An artificial intelligence in charge of all of Tony Stark's secret manufacturing projects.
• Howard Stark - Tony Stark's father and a designer that built devices that have revolutionized the industrial world.
• Ho Yinsen - Plays a key role in Iron Man's origin story as a mentor and co-builder of his first armor.
• Hulk - Possesses the potential for immense and seemingly limitless physical strength, would later join the Avengers.

J

• J.A.R.V.I.S. - The program that helps operate Pepper Potts's Rescue suit.
• Jocasta - Built by the robot Ultron, she aided the Avengers. Jocasta's intelligence was later placed within Tony Stark's computerized mansion.

M

• Maria Hill - Becomes a core member of Stark's S.H.I.E.L.D. cabinet and assists Stark in dealing with a sudden rise in various terrorist groups.
• Maria Stark - Tony Stark's mother and married to Howard Stark.
• Mary Jane Watson - Becomes Tony Stark's personal assistant after the destruction of her nightclub, Jackpot at the hands of Madame Masque.
• Maya Hansen - A scientist who developed the Extremis virus along with Aldrich Killian. It’s an old friend of Stark.

N

• Namor - He's a hybrid of human and Atlantean DNA. He later served directly with the Avengers.

P

• Pepper Potts - Originally a member of Tony Stark's secretarial pool. She later becomes part of a love triangle with Tony Stark and Happy Hogan.

R

• Rumiko Fujikawa - Girlfriend of Tony Stark and daughter of Kenjiro Fujikawa, the man who had taken over Stark's company during his stay in the Heroes Reborn universe.

W

• War Machine - Helped Iron Man flee from the Viet Cong soldiers after his escape from Wong-Chu's prison camp. He would later wear his own power armor.
• Wasp - she founded the Avengers with Iron Man and had a significative relationship with him twice.
