From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Harry Styles performing in Love on Tour
Singer Harry Styles's "As It Was" scored the longest-running song of the year, topping the chart for eleven weeks and over the course of the year became the most-streamed song of 2022.[1][2]

The Spotify Global 200 is a chart that ranks the most-streamed songs in the world on the music streaming platform Spotify. Their data is based on the streams each song gets within a 24-hour period ending 04:00 (UTC) each day.[3] In 2022, 11 songs claimed the top spot in 52 weeks of Spotify Charts, one of which, The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber's "Stay" returned to the top posted in late 2021.

In 2022, eight acts achieved their first global number-one song, either as a lead artist or a featured guest: Harry Styles, Glass Animals, Bizarrap, Quevedo, Kim Petras, Kate Bush, Blackpink and Joji. Three collaboration songs topped the chart.

Harry Styles's song "As It Was" was the longest-running song of the year, having topped the chart for nine consecutive weeks in 2022 and two additional weeks in the same year.[1] Also, it was the most-streamed song of 2022, topping on Spotify Wrapped.[2] Styles's "As It Was" stayed at number one for eleven non-consecutive weeks, while Glass Animals's "Heat Waves" topped the chart for ten consecutive weeks.[4] Bizarrap and Quevedo's "Quevedo: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52" spend nine consecutive weeks at the number-one spot.[citation needed]
