List of former Jesuits
This is an alphabetical list of historically notable former members of the Society of Jesus. They once belonged to the (men-only) Jesuit order in the Roman Catholic Church but left or were expelled during their lifetimes. Not included are the Jesuits who ceased to be Jesuits when the Society was suppressed by Pope Clement XIV in 1773. Most of those listed here remained Catholic. Some who are known to have not remained Catholic have this mentioned after their name.
