- Kizad Khalifa Industrial Zone, Abu Dhabi (Kizad), United Arab Emirates. When completed, the 418 square kilometres (103,000 acres) Kizad site will become one of the Middle East's largest industrial free-trade and non-free trade zones[1]
- Alberta's Industrial Heartland, Edmonton Capital Region, AB, Canada – 78,550 acres (318 km2)[2] (planned use)

- Rotterdam Harbour, Netherlands. It stretches for 40 kilometres (25 mi), and is 105 square kilometres (26,000 acres; 41 sq mi) large.
