Salah with Egypt at the 2018 FIFA World Cup

Mohamed Salah is an Egyptian footballer who has since represented Egypt national football team from 2011 onward. With 43 goals after 68 matches, he is the second top scorer for Egypt after the legendary Hossam Hassan.[citation needed]

He began making debut for the Egyptian side on 3 September 2011 in the away game against Sierra Leone during the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualification, as Egypt lost 1–2 and could not qualify for the edition. Nonetheless, he managed to score in the same qualification, against Niger on 8 October the same year when Egypt won 3–0.[1] As for 2020, he has netted on his opponents 43 times.[2]
