List of notable people and groups accused of sexual misconduct since the Me Too movement

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

This is a list of notable people, groups and organizations across all genres of sexual misconduct since the outbreak of the #MeToo Movement in October of 2017. The outbreak was triggered when Hollywood film mogul Harvey Weinstein was accused in exposes by the New York Times and The New Yorker of multiple actresses and other women of decades of sexual misconduct in early October. The scandal precipitated a "national reckoning", and with the subsequent popularization of the phrase "Me Too", many men and women began sharing stories of sexual misconduct and rape, leading to the swift removal of power of high profile men across the United States and internationally, while also tarnishing and/or ending the careers of other men in the industry along with organizations and groups.

The Weinstein allegations precipitated an immediate "national reckoning" against sexual harassment and assault in the United States,[1] which became known as the Weinstein effect; on social media, it was widely known as "#pervnado".[2] Men and women aired claims of sexual misconduct in workplaces across multiple industries, leading to the swift international removal of many men in positions of power.
