Logan Ellis Sheppard is a 19 year old L.A. based drummer, percussionist, and producer. Logan has been playing drums professionally since the age of 12, and has performed with Paul Reed Smith, Ellis Hall (Tower of Power), Bunny Brunel (Chick Corea), George Lynch (Dokken), Travis Carlton (Larry Carlton), Tony Franklin (The Firm) and Bruce Kulick (KISS), among others.

Though still in his teens, he has extensive touring and studio experience. In 2017, at just 15 years old, Logan recorded drums for iconic producer Sylvia Massy (RHCP, Tool, System of a Down, Johnny Cash). From 2018-2019, Logan performed on the final Vans Warped tour, at SXSW, and at Eric Clapton‘s Crossroads. In 2020, his studio sessions included tracking drums for the SCOOB! movie with Grammy-winning producer Mark Nilan (Lady Gaga), and creating original music with legendary engineer David J Holman (Gwen Stefani/No Doubt).

Logan's unique drumming style is the result of his interest in many genres, including jazz, funk, Neo soul, pop music and rock. Additionally, Logan possesses perfect pitch.

Logan's viral cover of the jazz standard Caravan in 2018 with teen bass phenom Gabriel Severn (Whiplash film arrangement) has surpassed 1.8 million views on YouTube as of the original publish date this article. He was inspired to transcribe, perform and produce many elements of the project - all before his 16th birthday - after watching by Miles Teller's character in the film Whiplash (2014 film). Logan also collaborated in April 2020 with America's Got Talent Season 14 winner and prodigious musical savant Kodi Lee on an acoustic cover of Bill Withers "Lean On Me".

Logan is an active peer mentor, a FREE2LUV anti-bullying advocate, and vocal supporter of young adults on the autism spectrum.
