The start-up company has its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois. The company serves businesses in fields spanning financial services, health care, technology and other highly regulated sectors.[2][3]

History and major developments[edit]

LogicGate, Inc. (formerly Capria Solutions) was founded by Matt Kunkel, Dan Campbell, and Jon Siegler in 2015. Prior to LogicGate, all three were consultants at Navigant Consulting.[4][5] LogicGate became a member of Techstars in 2016. Coming out of the program, LogicGate closed on a $1.9M seed round of fundraising in November of 2016.[6][7]

In July, 2018, LogicGate raised $7.5 Million in Series A to Automate Risk and Compliance. Jump Capital led the funding, with participation from investors including High Alpha.[8][9]

In 2019, LogicGate was listed by the Newsweek as a hi-tech company providing Compliance Management Software along with IBM, Oracle and VMware.[10]

Operations[edit]

LogicGate is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois In December 2018, LogicGate moved into a new River North office as the company continued to grow its risk and compliance automation software. The startup plans to be at 80 full-time workers by the end of 2019.[11][12]

LogicGate's software is used by organizations of all sizes for their governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) processes through a cloud-based platform. The company's agile process automation platform includes a library of configurable process apps built specifically for organizations to operationalize their governance, risk, and compliance programs. The software focuses on centralizing and integrating key functional areas including, risk management, auditing, governance and compliance reporting as well as specific areas of policy, process, training, vendor, and vulnerability management.[13] LogicGate had partners across the United States in 2019.
