Lokesh Vijay Gupte
Lokesh Gupte (born 3 March 1975) is an popular Indian actor, director and editor who is known for his work in marathi cinema, television and plays. He acted in many popular marathi plays, tv shows and films. He is best known for his work in Vadalvaat, Uladhaal, Julun Yeti Reshimgathi, etc. He did his directorial debut with the 2018 film Ek Sangaychay....Unsaid Harmony.
Personal Life
Lokesh was born in Pune and now lives in Mumbai. He completed his graduation from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce - Pune and completed B.Com. He did his debut from a marathi play Mi Nathuram Ghodse Boltoy, directed by Vinay Apte. This play could complete 7 show and then was closed due to major controversy. He got married to the popular tv actress Chaitrali Chirmuley in 2002, they have 1 daughter, Shubhavi who did her debut from Ek Sangaychay....Unsaid Harmony.
Career
Lokesh has acted in numerous Marathi movies, TV serials and plays. He worked as an assistant director for Vinay Apte for TV serials, news-based programs and TVC's. He has worked as an editor for 5 years and also had his own studios in which projects like Housefull (marathi), Shriyut Gangadhar Tipre, Bedhund Manachya Lahari, Runanubandh, Hasa Chakat Fu, Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye have been made. He has also edited numurous telefilms, video albums, television commercials and corporate films. After getting exhausted from editing work he made a comeback in acting with the famous tv serial Vadalvaat.
