Sachin Goswami is an Indian film Producer, Director, and Actor. He started developing an interest in plays at an early age, and that inspired him to pursue this profession. He is known for the direction of daily soaps like Maharashtra chi Hasya jatra,[1] Comedychi Bullet Train & theatre play ‘Ek Daav Bhatacha.’ Till now he has directed 10 Marathi Plays, 27 TV Shows, 1 Web Series, and 3 Marathi Films.
Early Life & Personal Life
Sachin Goswami was born on 9th March 1968 in the Pune District of Maharashtra. He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Defence Studies from Jai Hind Mahavidyalaya, Dhule (Zulal Bhilajirao Patil College). He did a certificate course in Dramatics in Aurangabad at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, after which he completed a certification course in Sanitary Inspection from Pune University. He has worked as a lecturer and coordinator of dramatics in the extramural studies department at Mumbai University.
Career
He started working as an amateur artist in plays in 1985. His maiden debut as an Actor was in 1994 with the play ‘Jyacha Tyacha Prashna’, and his maiden debut as a Director was in 1995 for the Play ‘Ek Divas Yeilach.’ He has directed and produced more than 300 episodes of the Television Comedy show ‘Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra’. He has also directed 10 Plays, 1 Web series ‘Liftman’ & 3 Marathi Films. Out of these, plays such as 'Comedy chi Bullet Train', 'Fu Bai Fu', 'Khupte Tithe Gupte', 'Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati' Season 2, and Marathi Films such as ‘Dhoom2Dhamaal’, ‘Masta Challay Amcha[2]’, ‘Pune via Bihar’ are some of his works.
