Lolade Dosunmu Adeyemi is a Nigerian physician who serves as the special adviser on research and innovation to the Minister of Education and Minister of State for Health in Nigeria. She has significantly contributed to cancer research, and ethical governance.

Early life and education

Adeyemi was born in Lagos State, Nigeria, she pursued her medical education at Olabisi Onabanjo University and later earned advanced degrees in public health from Johns Hopkins University and environmental management and sustainability from Harvard University.

Career

Adeyemi has held leadership roles in national health research and innovation.[1] She is the special adviser on research and innovation to the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa and the Minister of State for Health, Iziaq Adekunle Salako.[2][3]

Adeyemi has authored several research journals on cancer, women's health, and health systems innovation. Some of her notable publications include:
