Welcome to Looker at Snap!
Why use Looker?[edit]
Looker is a Data Analytics tool that allows anyone (from technical to not technical) to access Snap's data and answer any question they'd like.
The platform is directly connected to Snap's data-stores, so data is never stale. Metrics are governed, so you can trust the answers you come up with.
First things first, let's get you trained.
In order to get you to the right training material, let's figure out if you are a Developer or Explorer.
Developers are technical and have a base-knowledge of the programming language SQL. They work on the modeling layer within Looker. If this doesn't sound like you, you're an Explorer- someone who wants to access Snap's data, visualize it, and answer questions using Looker.
Training for Explorers can be found below:[edit]
Start with the self-paced eLearning course: Getting Started With Looker
Then, move on to the self-paced eLearning course: Building Reports in Looker to build your own reports and visualizations.
If you'd like to take a live instructor-led course, sign up for the Data Explorer Bootcamp. This half-day course is for data consumers who need to make data-driven business decisions using Looker.
