Lorca Spiti (Arabic:لوركا سبيتي) (1979-), Lebanese poet, writer, and journalist from southern Lebanon – KafarSer Village.
Biography[edit]
She was born in the town of Kfarsir Amelia, located in the Nabatiyeh district in southern Lebanon, in the year 1979 AD. Spiti continued her first studies in southern Lebanon, then moved to Beirut and obtained a diploma in Physical Education (sport). She also obtained a BA in Philosophy from the Lebanese University. She is the daughter of a poet from Jabal Amel who writes vertical poetry called "Mustafa Spiti", the sister of the poet and journalist "Fidel Spiti", the sister of the musician currently residing in Germany "Fida Sbeity" and the sister of the jurist Magda Sbeity "and the wife of Dr. Mazen Haidar.
Poetry publication[edit]
She worked in her early days as one of the beauties of the Caracalla Dance Group in Lebanon, then returned and devoted herself to poetry.
In addition to her poetry publications, she has written a number of literary articles in daily newspapers such as Al-Safir,[1] Al-Nahar,[2] Al-Quds Al-Arabi, and Al-Mustaqbal.
