Luis Casco is a make-up artist and beauty spokesperson who works in the cosmetics, television, celebrity, fashion, and photography industries. He is best known for his appearances as the lead makeup artist on Project Runway (4 seasons) and Project Runway Allstars (2 seasons) and Mexico's Next Top Model. He has led makeup teams for global Fashion Weeks including New York.[1], Paris, and Moscow[2], and for award programs including the Primetime Emmys.
Background
Luis was born in El Salvador, and emigrated to the United States where he attended The University Of Houston. He later moved to Paris to pursue a career in Fashion and Beauty. Luis soon expanded beyond Paris to become a global makeup artist in fashion and advertising, working in markets such as Germany, Austria, Australia and Mexico. In 1996 Luis moved to New York City as a consultant and spokesperson for cosmetics brands including Revlon, Cover Girl[3], Mary Kay[4], Shiseido, and Makeup Forever. In 2012 he was invited back to El Salvador to accept an award[5] for his career achievements, which were featured in the book The 100 Most Successful Salvadorans in the World[6]

Luis has been featured on several television series including The Tyra Banks Show[7], Home & Family[8], and Good Morning America[9], and as the lead on-screen Makeup Artist for Project Runway and Project Runway All Stars. Being fluent in Spanish, Luis has also appeared on Mexico's Next Top Model[10] and La Reina de la Canción[11]
