Luis Chavez (also known as FURGOD) is a Latino American fashion designer, music writer, rapper and entrepreneur.[1]

Career

Chavez was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, in a Latino family. His father was from El Salvador while his mother was from Peru. After attending Institute of Production and Recording (IPR), Minnesota, Chavez started designing fur coats and leather jackets under his eponymous brand, FURGOD.[2][3][4]

Once his brand became popular, he utilized the notability of his brand to venture into his core field of music production. He launched his debut album, Trial and Error, inspired by his personal experiences, moods and feelings.[5] The video for his song Lavish Lifestyle was shot in Miami; it depicts a glamorous lifestyle from his own daily routine.[2]

FURGOD started several businesses that became successful, but the most notable ones was INTI Energy, a product of CBDA energy drinks which has been finding success because of an honest reflection of his personality including glamour and stress.[2][6] The drink notably received approval from Amazon to sell in the United States, Canada and Mexico.[6] Another renowned product he started was LyfeX, a Bitcoin App, that acts as an interface between the real world and the digital currency.[1]
