Luis Samways

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Luis David Pereira Samways is an English author of thriller, science fiction, suspense and romance novels. Having written nearly 40 novels and 30 short stories.[1], he's sold over 100,000 ebooks world-wide on the Kindle platform.

Early Life & Career[edit]

Born in Oporto, Portugal, Luis moved to England when he was only two years old. Struggling at school, he found a love for storytelling, and once he left education, he started writing rap music to express himself. Samways then found a new love for reading, which culminated in him writing his first novel, Boston Blood[2]. Due to bad reviews, he quickly re-wrote the novel, and re-published it under the new title The Casual Killer[3]

Not letting the bad reviews get to him, he went on to release four more follow ups to his Frank McKenzie detective series, which ended up selling over 25,000 units in the first year.

Following the success of his thrillers, he moved onto science fiction where he released Stasis, which went on to become his first ever number one bestseller on the Amazon Kindle charts.

Luis Samways still regularly releases many novels to this day, dipping out of genres and experimenting with new series, spanning from romance all the way back to pulp thrillers.

Personal Life[edit]

Luis Samways is married with one child. A former Christian, he now identifies as an agnostic. As a hobby, Luis still produces music regularly.
