Lukumanu Iddrisu is a Ghanaian who graduated from the Vaasa University of Applied Sciences (VAMK) with a degree in Business Administration. While at VAMK, he won an award for his Bachelor thesis on Thought Leadership.

Life and career[edit]

Iddrisu was born 1989 in Tema and sees himself as Dagomba with origins in the Kumbungu area. He attended Presbyterian Secondary School. He further attended Accra Polytechnic where he earned a Higher National Diploma in Fashion Design and Textiles in 2012.

In 2014, Iddrisu decided to further his education and major in marketing where believes his passion lies. Consequently, he was admitted by Vaasa University of Applied Sciences to study a degree program in International Business.[1] In December 2017, he graduated from VAMK with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.[2]

Graduation speech and Scholarship[edit]

On December 21, 2017, Lukumanu delivered the student address at Vaasa University of Applied Sciences' graduation ceremony.[3] [4]His speech was primarily about the challenges he faced as an African student as well as urging his fellow graduates to use the acquired knowledge to help contribute to the transformation of our ever-changing world.[5] He also received a scholarship for his bachelor thesis on Thought Leadership.[6]
