Luz Corrigan (also known by her stage name, Luz; born 31 March 2001[1]) is a singer-songwriter[2] from Ferbane, County Offaly, Ireland.[3] Her style is characterized by an emotive and wide vocal range, singing vibrato, use of acoustic instruments (piano and/or guitar). Her genre towards the indie folk/pop genre.

Luz began anonymously posting videos of herself singing on Instagram at age 14, under the handle @secretpersonthatsings.[4] In August 2017, Corrigan revealed her identity through an Instagram post.[5] Corrigan later revealed in an interview that her parents did not know about her recording and uploading videos of her singing before this.[1]

Following a cover of Lose My Mind by Australian songwriter Dean Lewis that Corrigan posted to her Instagram page in 2018, Corrigan was invited by Dean to open for him at a show he was doing in Ireland.[1] Prior to this, Corrigan had (musically) supported Little Hours and Mick Flannery, and was invited to open for Kodaline the following year (2019).

Luz currently has 8 singles out on Spotify:[6] Unconscious (2018), Lost (2019), i'm lonely (2020), we'll be fine (2020; Original, Mahogany Sessions, and Acoustic versions), the author (2020) and Counting Houses (2021).
