Lyndon Rom Tasis David is a young Filipino civil servant, presently serving as the Executive Officer of the Office of the Inspector General, Internal Affairs Service. David joined the IAS at age 20, making him the youngest ever to join the agency and the youngest to occupy a top technical and administrative post in the Office of the Inspector General.

David was Senior Executive Assistant to the Inspector General from 2018 to 2021. He is well known in the agency for his involvement and expertise in the fields of Governance, Strategy, Institutional Foresight, Information Technology, and Administrative Law.

Personal life[edit]

Lyndon David was born to a Kapampangan lawyer and an Akeanon merchandising professional. While maintaining strong connections with his ancestral provinces, David grew up in Makati City.

Education and Early Reputation[edit]

After finishing high school at Fort Bonifacio High School as valedictorian, David graduated magna cum laude with a degree in public administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2018. Before David's college academic feat, the City of Makati, the DepEd Makati and JCI Makati already recognized his academic excellence and leadership as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of Makati in 2014.[1] David continued his activism throughout his stay in the university, albeit staying at the middle or rear ranks during demonstrations. In 2018, however, several outlets spotted David at the frontlines during UP Diliman's commencement exercises.[2][3]

David previously served in CIFAL Philippines under its sustainable development and inclusive business programs. During his brief stay in the Center, David contributed in organizing the first installment of the Inclusive Business Forum Series in Cebu[4] and leading the first-ever Youth Commitment to Action and Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships.[5] Before serving in CIFAL, David led his class in co-organizing with CIFAL Philippines an outreach activity and information campaign about the Sustainable Development Goals and Inclusive business for differently abled people.[6]
