Lyngdalsheiði (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈliŋkˌtalsˌheiːðɪ]) is a heathland plateau between Laugarvatn and Þingvallir in Iceland. There are cave formations near the road across Lyngdalsheiði, such as Laugarvatnshellar, Gjábakkahellir, Vegkantshellir, Tintron, Lambhellir and Tvíbotni.
North of Lyngdalsheiði laid Kóngsvegur (The King's Road) which was constructed in 1907 in the anticipation of the arrival of King Frederick VIII of Denmark.
