Lyrical Wanzam (born Wisam Hamza Suhyini),[1] known in Canada as Mc Accent, is a Ghanaian hip-hop artist based in Canada. He was a member of Accra's most popular rap groups called Ghetto Reps. He recorded numerous songs with his group members; LooneeTKR, BoyNash, and Nova.[citation needed] He went solo and released Afropolytank Mixtape.[2] He currently resides in Vancouver, Canada. In 2013, he released his breakthrough song "Sheygey Reasons" featuring M.anifest and subsequently released the video that same year.[3] Lyrical Wanzam recently released "Sheygantaka" ft. Loonee and El rapper.[4] He was named one of the top 5 underrated rappers in Ghana.[5] Lyricalwanzam featured Gemini of BBNZ's record label on his G.O.A.T song.[6] He and his wife welcomed their first baby, Fareeda, in June 2016.[7]
Personal Life & Education
Mc Accent was raised in Tamale, Ghana. He moved to Accra to further his education. Madina, Ghana helped him mature. He studied Business at St. Augustine's College (Cape Coast). He graduated with a BA in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and is currently pursuing his master's degree at Vancouver Island University, Canada.[citation needed]
