M.R Jayageetha (എം.ആര് ജയഗീത) is a popular Malayalam lyricist and poet. She is also working in the Malayalam film industry as a research officer, beginning her career with the 2014 film Wound. The film was directed by Rajasenan and produced by Trio Film Company. The film was released on 27 June 2014. After the success of the films, she got a chance to write in two Malayalam films, Mizhi Thuraku and Varsham. Idanazhi Doorathil Sambhavichathu is a collection of poetry by M R Jayageetha. It has 54 poems with a foreword.
Early life
M.R Jayageetha was born on 3 December in Kollam in Ernakulam district in Kerala, India. She studied at Govt. Higher Secondary School Vallikeezhu. After her formal education, she joined TKM College of Arts and Science in Kollam. Now she is actively working in the Malayalam film industry.
